I just love buttons. I thought it would be fun to do a button swap. Here is how it would work. I will take 9 people besides myself.Mail to me 10 cards of shaped buttons. Something fun. Not just plain buttons. Along with a stamped envelope addressed to yourself with your name as return address too. I will swap out and mail you back 10 cards of buttons. Sign up till I have 9. Then have to me by May 30. Does anyone want to join in the fun?
Hugs,
Elizabeth

This sounds fun but I don't use shaped buttons. If you ever do one with round/square buttons or maybe a specific color theme I would be interested.

Jewelry, art, baskets, etc.

Julie,
That would find. I just meant the plain cheap buttons. Something with asome shape. Can be round or square. Something fun.
Hugs.

I'm confused about what you mean by shaped buttons? Do you mean little lobsters -- ears of corn -- trees? Or just something more than plain white four-hole buttons?

Katie,
That is correct. Something more than plain white 4 hole buttons.
Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Elizabeth,
I'd love to join in! OK, now I will be a pain & ask a million questions...
Can I send you ten cards with different buttons or do they all need to be the same? Also, I have LOTS of neat old buttons, but they are not on cards. Could I tie up 8 or so on a pretty ribbon? Sounds like fun! Thanks for organizing this!

I made my own cards for this yesterday and just thought I would tie buttons on to my own cards that my kids helped me make. Do not know if that is exactly the right way, but i think that is the interesting part about swaps...to see what everyone comes up with. Maybe this will help.

I'd like to be included in this... I've collected buttons for years. My ex built me a cabinet for them with printers drawers in it. ShawnMarie in PA

I thought maybe I'd missed something too. With the swaps not all being in one forum, it does get a bit confusing. I will assume we will be emailed off list with the address for mailing our buttons and when they are due...unless I missed that somewhere.
