Heather, your apron is in the mail and on it's way. Should arrive 3/25... The P.O. is strapping it to a land tortoise, so it should make it by then, fingers, eyes and legs crossed!

I received my apron from Debbie. So pretty! She also sent a bookmark, a notepad and a cute card. She also sent a sachet of lavender.

Grace - I just got back from the rent a tortoise shop (AKA the post office). I guess the nice spring weather we've been having put a spring in my tortoises step - your expected delivery date is Friday. I made sure he had his winter hat and mittens just in case LOL!

Grace - I think the storms that came through yesterday gave your tortoise a boost - My apron arrived today! Thank you so much - I LOVE it!!!! I love the special embroidery work you added to it! Thank you for all the extra goodies you sent. I will find some fabric to go with the pattern and pocket fabric you sent. I don't have an apron for the 4th so this is a great project. The card made me laugh! I was just thinking I needed to get some new kitchen towels. I love the colorful hotpad/dishcloth - so bright and cheery. The socks are perfect! I've never seen the rootbeer mix to add to your water. That sounds nice and refreshing for a hot day! The book mark will be put to good use immediately. That fly swatter magnet is wonderful! I may have to borrow that idea for some stocking stuffers!

Heather, the dish towel was a spur of the moment fun project, I just happened to have some black and white fabric remnants so I made the towel topper for you... I actually had such fun, that I think I just might make a few more in Easter colors for myself.. Thanks for letting me experiment on you so I can make one for me! Heeheehee. ;)

Denise, the front is a very old vintage piece of organza and might not take washing very well. But, if you need to wash it, you should wash gently by hand while praying and dry flat. It to me is more for display showing aprons of old.

Oh my stars!!! The slow poke tortoise made it all the way over here!
Hubby and I were out working in the front yard, pruning roses and doing some lawn clean up,, gotta take advantage of the 45' degrees weather... When we saw the mail carrier out on the road... Needless to say... A bit of farm girl mail arrived...

I love the apron, I was covered in garden Schmutz, so I photo'd the apron on my girliquin,,, love the sweet pot holders, especially the crochet kitty one.. hmmm, were have I seen that pattern? Hmmm!
And thank your for the girlie pampering goodies too! After working out side today, goodness knows I will need it!

I will be careful with it. Even the older aprons my grandma made still get used. I don't have any way to just display them. I will save yours for when I host get togethers.

Grace - I'm so happy your package arrived safe and sound. I was a bit worried when it wasn't showing up on the tracking page. I'm also happy to see that you like the fabric well enough that you already had some :) I had a black and white cat fabric but I thought this one was more you. On a side note - hand embroidery is not one of my specialties. It will not hurt my feelings at all if you have a better way of making the cats face show up on the crocheted hot pad. The directions simply said follow the picture. It took me twice as long to put the face on as it did to make the rest of it LOL! I thought about trying yarn but I didn't have any green for the eyes.
Julie/Diana - love the big pocket on the apron! Is that denim or just blue fabric?
