I apologize for how long it took to make. I had an old friend taken to ICU in September. He was not awake and on life support because of multiple system and organ failure. I was at the hospital every day and was present when he died. I still have some feelings to process. Working on the embroidery was very calming and centering. It helped me so much.

Luckily, I do difficult things all the time and I have the callouses on the sides of my fingers to prove it.
