In addition to being well celebrated for Independence Day, July is National Ice Cream Month. National Ice Cream Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in July; this year on July 18th.
The resolution proclaiming the month of July as "National Ice Cream Month" was signed into public law by President Ronald Reagan on July 9, 1984.
Just like Dairy Month let's share anything ice cream. It can be something hand made, purchased, or just a story about your experience making ice cream or the ice cream truck in your neighborhood as a kid.
We'll make this a quick one; Sign up by July 10th, partners posted on the 11th, mail by the 14th.

Hi Jill I sent you my address, it feels like fall here, that will not stop me from eating Ice-cream in Fact last Saturday I bought all the ingredients for Ice cream banana split's and hubby and I had a delious treat and since I have all the fixing I might make Hot fudge/hot Carmel Sundays for the 18th !

Hi Jill I got your package, thank you for the little tin heart it will look nice hanging up in one of my windows. The dish towel with the ice cream cones sewn on it is cute , for National Ice Cream Month. I love the squares/cloth of the two different lemons along with the recipe for the Lemon Ice cream, I have bought the ingredients and will make it this weekend. Yummy!!!

Wanda Sue - I received your very neat and scrumptious Ice Cream treats yesterday. The ice cream flavored packages are totally new to me and I can't wait to try them. The recipes, also, sound wonderful. Thank you for the bee coaster. As you have probably surmised, I collect bee themed objects of anything. Thank you so much for all.

Oh Ida Jane!! I love my ice cream package, all of it!! The note, stickers, recipe, socks, article and coloring pages. Especially the apron and soda jerk hat, my husband insisted that I model them for you. Thank you, thank you for this thoughtful gift which means so much more with the story that goes with it.

Sheila, thank you so much for my wonderful gift! I received it a day or two ago but haven't sat down to post here, my apologies! I absolutely love the ice cream scoop, the flowery handle makes it extra special! And the beautiful linen napkins are almost too lovely to use, but I'm sure I'll use them anyway, to make my table pretty. :)
