Look what I got in the mail today, a Surprise! My Dear, Sweet Friend in Iowa Karen who I have known for 40 years sent it to me. She felt it was something I should have. So sweet of her. Girl Pals and Farmgirl Sisters are the best!!’
Friday I finally went to the Beauty Shop, I had not been a year and a half.
I am happy to say when I met the young lady who was as to do my hair for the first time ask her if she knew what Ombré Purple Hair was, she said she did. She was right, she knew what she was doing, I love it!
I do not normally like to take photos of myself as I have so many well earned wrinkles.
Then along came mask, purple of course.
My Son put a filter on the photo to brighten my face:-)

Debbie -- beautiful! Both you and your hair. I've had the gray streaks on the sides purple for most of the past 10 years. Lots of fun. It's gone now because I also haven't been in a beauty shop for the duration of the current plague and it has gotten too long. I really would like short hair again but I don't want too see a grown man cry.

Debbie,
Looks awesome and so do you. You are beautiful. I have never been brave enough to put color in mine. It is so blonde that I'm afraid it would be too stark of a difference. I like subtle and mine is too light for anything to be subtle. Just remember wrinkles just show we have loved to laugh! Laughter does good like medicine.

Debbie, I love the hair! You look so beautiful! I actually just dyed my hair purple on Thursday! I would share a picture but I'm currently riding in the car and my hair is pulled up.

Remember the old days when purple wasn't an acceptable color to wear unless you were very old and then it was a dull purple? My mother wouldn't let me wear purple. There were a lot of rules back then that sure don't apply now, like not wearing white after Labor Day. I could name a lot of others.

Debbie, I love that color.
One year around Halloween I had my hair streaked green, It wore out after a month because we just did a temporary color. I shocked every one in the office, when I came to work, I worked for Security, they tend to be a little conservative!

Debbie, I love your hair! Looks good! Ombre is very cool, and I think it grows out nicely.
