Diana I love the flamingo fabric and the stripes remind me of a romper I had when I was a little girl!
Do you remember rompers that tied at the neck? I believe mine was seersucker fabric, I lived in those

Sorry I haven’t been around much. I’m dealing with a L wrist that has made my fingers numb, pain, swelling, can’t close my hand or lift anything. Need carpal tunnel done and have severe arthritis. Assuming that’s the culprit. Can’t get an appointment until 7/8. Not with the surgeon but his PA. Have had fabric cut but ordered another one also because I like it better. Can’t cut it now. I’ll send these off. Love the fabrics you are sending. Thanks everyone!

I received my summertime fabric from Dianna.
I just love the flamingos. I have seen these stripes before and may have to get some of this for a summer frock.

Ladies your fabric is going to the PO today! Summertime means
watermelon, cookouts and vacations!
We always played games like the license plate game and
count the cows in the pastures
on each side of the road. My brother, two sisters and I would
team up so we could keep a lookout for any graveyards on
the other teams side of the road. When one was spotted they
would have to “bury” their cows and start the count all over
again. The winner was whoever had the highest count by
the time you reached your destination. Has anyone else
played this game?

Did you ever play "slug bug"???
My younger sister and brother loved that game. Out on the road, in the country, they did not see too many, but every town seemed to have 1 or more. My shoulders got lots of punches because I had a book to read or some embroidery I was working on.

Darlene, I'm sorry your left hand is giving you fits. It is not fun at all.

Is your DH able to cut the fabric with supervision? I believe I could get Lowell (DH) to do it . . . with supervision of course.
