Already, my goodness your quick!!! I'm hoping to look around the thrift stores this weekend in between working on the house since it's a 3 day weekend for hubby, hopefully we can get alot done plus do a little thrifting. I'll let you know when I get the package.
Is everyone else contacting their swap partners and getting ideas? Remember, the one who spends their $5 the best will win a prize!

I would be willing to swap with Katelyn if still interested. Sorry, but Bluewrenn had to back out....she is very busy at this time. So let me know, as I have done some Thrift Store Shopping already, if not, I can wait until the next one.

MaryBeth had a good question, as to the price's and how I'll judge the winner of the bonus prize. So, to be fair, keep the price tags on the items so we know they total $5. Once you get your goodies, post about them and if you can include a photo here or on your blog, when everyone has gotten theirs, I'll determine who spent their $5 the most thrifty. Make sense to all and is fair enough?

Many of the thrift stores here don't put price tags on things. And the particular one where I bought a couple of things uses some kind of marker or grease pencil, which, without giving away one(or two or three) of the things I bought, has already been washed out/off. Can I just include a list with the package? If I can find the receipts, I could put them in. Sorry, I'm just so used to shopping with my antique mall booth in mind, I just clean everything right away. Just leave me out of the bonus prize judging and next time, I'll remember. I've really enjoyed this swap - I've gotten a chance to shop in thrift stores I haven't been in for a long time(hit Louisville and Indiana last Sat.)! And Mary Beth, I'll mail your surprise package out Saturday!

Oh Janice, I know what you mean.....I do not have any price tags either, and I really have no idea where the receipts would be.
I would be willing to do the same.....leave me out of the judging, I had so much fun shopping. Katelyn, the things are getting ready to be mailed out, and I sure hope you like them, I know I do

That's ok girls, we'll just use the honor system and trust that everyone just spends $5.00. Both will be included in the bonus prize, so good luck!

I got my swap package in the mail yesterday from Marybeth!!! It was dark when we got home, and my poor dh, who was expecting G scale train cars from ebay, grabbed the box out of the mailbox first...hehehe. When he opened it, Surprise! It was ALL MINE! Wow, Marybeth! I was like a kid at Christmas! The little children's book is precious. In fact, at a thrift store here, I would have to spend the entire five plus some for a book that old/beautifully illustrated. And the welcome sign/barn is going over the kitchen door at the farm, and the wooden wall hanging with the girl and the basket of apples is going in my bedroom at the farm(even though the house isn't ready, we live in a two bedroom trailer when we're there). The little bird house will go on a lamp table next to another bird house my boss gave me. And the old postcard is going in a little card holder I bought last week! I really hope you like your package as much as I like mine! OOPS - I forgot the wonderful farm scene dish - the barn looks like the welcome sign! It's going in the kitchen on the wall! You did wonders with only 5 dollars!
