Thank you for the instructions, Jean. They look easy. I Love the gratitude journal and the mini dream journal! This is exciting for me to try something different.

Jean, thanks so much for the instructions and the extra little books. I have already printed them out and can't wait to put them together. The making of the book seems very simple, can't wait to get started.

Jean Thank you for the Instructions! I am so excited and yes this will definitely be a project for my students this year!!! My grandson who is 6 has been making his own super hero comic book. I know he will love to make these little mini books with me too!

The instructions look so simple! My daughter already printed off the Dream Journal and has been playing around with it.

Ooooooh, Debbie . . . my bad. You were first on the list and when I folded the page in half, your name was on the other side of the folded piece of paper I was copying the list from. Sorry 'bout that. . .
Big hugs and apologies,

I had an inquiry about adding "stuff" to the books. So here's my take on the question. Of course you can -- anything goes. HOWEVER, traditionally these little booklets have been circulated widely in the Mini Zine world and are simply flat sheets of paper that can easily be photocopied to produce multiple copies. I would encourage you to do them that way -- keeping the project simple and easy to reproduce. After all you may want to send one to all your friends and family or enclose in your Christmas letter this year . . . who knows the extent of your publication endeavors.

To answer another question -- you certainly are not limited to 8'1/2 x 11 inch paper. I have some marvelous ones I've received done with the 12x12" scrapbook papers. I even have one that was done with a very large piece of wallpaper. No matter the original paper size -- just fold it properly, and voilà -- a book. Another HOWEVER here -- in order to be able to mass produce and send copies easily via email, you should limit your book to the traditional 8-1/2 x 11 inch starting size.

Case in point regarding making copies of your book. I have uploaded here a mini book from my collection. And, while you can view it, I don't think it will print properly from this upload for you to be able to fold it into a mini book for yourself. If you want me to send the jpg to your email address so you can print it out, just let me know. I will send other samples from my collection periodically.

Farmgirl hugs,
jean

That is interesting, Jean. It makes me think of African prints. Like in fabrics.

Early this morning...1am I was trying to fold and cut the proper cut to make an 8 page book. Crazy old lady!
But it took a long time for my tablet to decide not to spin a circle. Now I know how! This will be fun. Thanks Jean.

I have mine ready to go! Took me a while to decide on a topic, but once I did 8 pages were easy and fun to fill. Since I am in Florida and away from my home and grandchildren, I decided to make them a mini book for Easter, so I am busy working on them. Anxious for partners to be revealed and to see all the books everyone has created. There are certainly a bunch of creative Farmgirls! Blessings and Hugs to all!

Hello all you swappin' bookies. Thought I'd send along pix of one of my little favorites that a girlfriend sent me. She did a little history of Gum. Here are pix of the outside and inside of it. I am sending the jpeg file to you swappers so you can print it out and have your own copy. Enjoy . . .

Think I MAY have decided on a topic for my mini book, but now I need to make it.

I have trouble folding so that every page is perfectly lined up. Always have at least one that is awry and won't mind!
