How in the world could she have possibly known that other than quilting (and DH, of course) my favorite creative passion is hand made books. And, what do I get in the mail from Ms. Jill Skane you ask? A marvelous hand made book all about Maine. The photo really only shows you one page -- there are several. Each one creative eye candy. Thank you so very much Jill. You can't possibly know just how much I adore it.

Hahahahaha . . . all is well, April. I went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy off field and only hope the post office will consent to deliver it. Just finishing up over the weekend and it will be on the way to you next week. Are you well, safe and out of harms way where you are located?

| OK, color me more confused than ever. I "thought" Jill was sending to me and I was sending to April. I did get a lovely handmade book from Jill and I have a "thingamabob" addressed to April sitting here waiting for DH to take to the Post Office. Where did I go wrong? I'm new to the MJF swaps and, I just can't figure out where I am. . . . think I'll have to stick with swaps where we exchange both ways with the same partner to preserve my sanity. I actually made myself a spreadsheet to keep track of the swaps I signed up for. But I guess I still messed up. Can somebody rescue me from swap purgatory please? |

My mistake!!! This was for our autumn altered wood block swap! I'm tired today, we had a death in the family yesterday and I posted it to the wrong swap, I'm so sorry for the confusion JeanP!

Well, DH was feelin' poorly from all this dang smoke in the air and didn't get to the Post Office until today, April. Once Karen, our taco truck postal clerk, stopped laughing, she told DH that she would accept it for mail and provide tracking, but there was no way in this wide wide world of sports that she would insure it. Well, I really wasn't going to insure it anyway. So it is on it's way to Central Oregon. I sure hope it arrives in one piece . . . . or I should say -- all together. Have fun . . .

I torn the wrapping paper a bit before I realized the beautiful back side.
