Michelle, would love to see a picture of your wheel.

I finished another knitting project ... The pattern is called 21 Color Scarf by Virginia Sattler-Reimer. Yarn used Woolstok by Blue Sky Fiber - 100% Highland wool from Peru.

I still need to put the ends in a block it.

Cheers!

Oh my Carole, your scarf is lovely. I loved knitting but alas have had to give it up as my eyesight has deteriorated. My favorite things to make were socks. There are so many wonderful sock yarns these days. That scarf looks so fun. You're going to get a lot of compliments on it.

Thank you for your lovely comments.

Jean, I'm so sorry to read that you can no longer knit.

Michele, cannot wait to see your wheel. I kind of think it would be relaxing to sit and spin.

Cheers!

Michelle, really nice. One of the gals from The Woolly Thistle shop cast spins on a Ladybug and she loves it. They had a clip of her spinning. It looks so relaxing. Thank you for sharing.

I've been MIA for a while now. Too much going on in my life right now and have not interacted with humans for a while. I am clawing and crawling back to life, one little step at a time.

I absolutely love this new thread! I find knitting, spinning and crafted soul soothing. So, with all that said... Carole, I love your stitch markers. I've made a few, however, never thought of using an earring to make one. Usually only use charms. I can't wait to check out the stash of earrings I have that never wear anymore. Very exciting. Also, your knitting is amazing. I am currently working on a shawl (hap) called "The Sheep Shawl". I made one several years ago and gave it to a friend. Fun knit, although I dropped two stitches and had to tink back 4 rows... moving forward now.

There is never a road so long that there isn't a curve in it.

This is what I have been working on. The pattern is called Dunyvaig by Kate Davies Designs. It is a hap, which is a Scottish term for a shawl. The yarn is Ulysse de serum nature (Merinos) from France. Ethically sources. Left over skeins from another project ... making-do!

OMG, I just notices a mistake .... ARGH!

Do I rip it out ... it's so far down .... or do I think I can live with that mistake?

Oh wow Carole. That is gorgeous. What mistake? I didn't see no stinkin' mistake! No one except you is ever going to see it.

Beautiful hap, Carole. As Jean says, no one but you will notice.

I have noticed mistakes in my knitting and have done both - left it and ripped out - depending on my mood and where it was.

The hap is beautiful. Amazing knitting too. No mistake in site. lol You want to talk mistakes, oh boy. I took a rug off my loom. 3 stripes on one side, 4 on the other. Now how I did that, I don't know.

That’s beautiful Carole. I don’t see a mistake either. I think if it’s something you can live with then leave it since no one else can see it. But if it’s going to haunt you and make you not want to wear it then fix it.

Beautiful Carole.... I do not see a mistake either, so unless it will drive you crazy, I would leave it alone.

Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments. I ended up frogging it. The confusing part about this pattern is that, when working on the Wrong Side (WS) the purl become knit and the knit become purl. It's not the first time I've made that mistake and frogged it!

For those curious to see the mistake ....

I was on the WS and knit when I should have purl.

I've knitted back to where I was originally before I frogged and a tad more.

I'm really loving how it's turning out. It will be so warm and cozy for those cold winter days.

Cheers!

Thank you Michelle for your kind comment.

If anyone is interested in knitting socks, I found this great class on Youtube from Denise DeSantis of Earthtonesgirl.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fup5_rbJIeE

I've linked to the first class. She has a series of classes and they are free.

I love knitting socks, I find it so relaxing. I hope you you get inspired to start knitting socks and share you work here on this thread.

Yours in Fibre!

I'm with you Carole, I love knitting socks. They are my to-go project! On an airplane, camping, riding in a car you can bet I am knitting socks.

Here is a picture of the last pair I did
