Thank you all for the sweet comments.

Linda, the graphgan is actually for my son. He loves transformers and bumblebee is his favorite. The little bee was for his brother's teacher. Sorry for the confusion.

Wanda, this crochet pattern was a big challenge for me. I ripped it out quite a few times and had to do some research on what I was doing wrong. Once I figured out a few tricks, it went smoothly. And I don't blame your son, I love it too lol! Probably my favorite pillow I have made to date!

I finished the striped back to the graphgan last night and got 3 sides of the pillow hooked together. Tonight I will put the pillow in and close it up. I am super excited to give it to my son for Christmas!

I also made this pickle for my son's speech teacher. She is always making jokes, so I thought this would be funny for her!

Well, I finally got a project done. I can remember when I could crank out 20 of these Christmas cards in a couple of days.... but these took 2 weeks. Good thing I'm retired!!! At least I have them done for next year, so now to clean up the room a bit and start working on the quilt pieces again!!!!

Thank you Wanda. I've been making quilted Christmas cards for about 20 years now and they are usually a hit among family and friends.

I also figured out the wrap heel (knitting). In the evenings, I managed to finish a pair of socks... I think the new heel type caused the instep to be a little large, so will have to work on that.

Theresa, are those sewn directly on to the card? They are beautiful.

Denise, Yes. I normally do all the embellishments I can before I attach the clothe to the card. Once I have as much done with the fabric I sew them directly onto the card. All of the embellishments on the star was done before sewing to the card. All the embellishments on the rocking horse was done before, except for the tail and mane and that was done after I attached them to the card.

Theresa - Great cards. That is a great project for using up Christmas fabric scraps. I may steal that idea next year. I will work on it as a do-a-few-at-a-time project throughout the year.

Today I am helping Ed work on a very difficult jigsaw puzzle my son got him for Christmas. LOL!

Yesterday I finished makinng the mini-lego-lookalike Treadle sewing machine my son got me for Christmas. I told him I wanted one. There are over 600 pieces in it. LOL! It does not sew, but when you use the wheel or the small crank near the bottom, the treadle pedal and needle both move!

Linda, Steal away!!! They are great fun. Love the Lego machine. That had to be a blast to put together, and what a thoughtful gift.

Theresa, I love your cards! They are so pretty.

Linda, your Lego sewing machine is so cool. My oldest son got a micro Lego set of the Titanic. We have been working on it the last couple of days. Those things are so tiny!

My goodness! All of these projects are fantastic! I love your teacher gifts and the little cow Krista.
Karen, I can relate to the look of something exploding in my craft room. I am working on a gift project right now so I will clean it all up when I am done. Of course having a cleaned up craft room makes me want to craft more!
Linda, that treadle is so cute. I think they have made just about everything into a Lego now.
I was thinking the the same thing about the handcrafted cards. Adding another project to my lengthy list. Lol!

I think the fabric Christmas cards will be cute. Just need to think what I want to put in the words in the cards so I can print them out and then decorate the front.

Yesterday I got out my 2023 UFO list and rewrote a new list for 2024 with all the stuff I didn't finish. My list is 20 UFOs less this year!! I'm going to head into 2024 strong and knock a bunch up these UFOs out!

Oh my gosh everyone!! These projects are all amazing that you have been working on. Krista, that cow your made is just too cute! Your little guy must have been so excited to get it on Christmas.

Theresa, your cards are beautiful and I know the recipients love them too!

Linda, making jigsaw pieces sounds like a real challenge to me. I hope it all went perfectly too!

Good luck everyone this coming year! I am amazed at the number of projects you get done and those that are "in the wings"! You all take the cake on excellence!!

I forgot to share my other son's pillow I mad for Christmas! He is really big into Minecraft, so I made him a Minecraft pillow.

It's double sided so he can use whatever side he's in the mood for.
