I have been working on this pillow for a long time. I got the top from a traveling craft box and added the lovely red fabric to it. I made a pillow form from some muslin and stuffed it with feathers from an old pillow. I just have to finish hand sewing the seam closed.

This little mirror just needed a touch of black paint to accent the carving.

Today I took a different approach to finishing projects - kinda helps not being bored with one project. I decided to work on projects that use the same color thread so I am not spending time changing back and forth between different color threads. This new approach was after changing thread colors 4 times on basic stitching of Crayon Rollups. LOL!

I started out using red. I finished 4 kitchen boas (1 Patriotic Cats, 1 Patriotic Dogs and 2 funny Christmas), 2 Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Cloth Kids Books, and basic stitching on 4 Crayon Roll-ups.

My next color will be black, because I have quite a few projects that can be completed using black thread.

I have 3-1/2 machines set up in my craft room but am only using 1-2 of them. My Singer Featherweight with my mother's old Featherweight table is the one I use most of the time; I have another newer Singer I use for some of the zigzag projects, and then there are a 401A in a cabinet and a 301A with its Singer table (Note: the table is up but machine is still in its case).

I may do that and have White, black, and another color on the 3 main machines.

Linda - great idea! That's one thing I dislike about sewing is always changing out the thread. And, great idea on having more than one sewing machine ladies, to manage the UFO tasks. But, I may stick with Michelle on this one, black and white, all you need, right!? Funny, I purchased prethreaded bobbins awhile back, all in black and white. Bobbin and I still don't get along very well, but we're working on our relationship. :-)

IMHO white and grey are more useable for all than black. Many people always use a pale grey or beige for everything. For black fabrics I prefer using black.

I love all your hearts and worms, Marcy. Everyone who finds one of those is just going to love it. I really like the worry worms. I would like to make some of those. I think they may be helpful for kids.

Love the worry worms Marcy! I got mine walking along a wooded trail where some kind person had left it with a poem to help whoever found it get through the scary pandemic (it had just begun). I think they would be great for children. I use mine whenever I'm stressed out and can feel the kind vibes from the person who made it. It always helps me get past whatever it is that has me worried.
