I had a friend reach out to me asking if I could make a crochet horse similar to her friends horse who just passed away. It was quite the challenge and I wasn't overly confident in the end result but she loved it and said it was perfect. I'm excited to hear what the recipient thinks about it. Now I'm on to making a hat for Bexten for Halloween.

Wonderful projects ladies. Judith how big are your squares? They look like they might be tiny.

I started out with 1 ˝ inch squares that finish to 1 inch. I cut up scraps when I finish a project so I have a shoebox full of squares. When the shoebox gets full I make postage stamp quilts. I also use 2 inch squares for the same reason.

Love the horse Krista - if you need something to occupy your time I could send you some cow pictures LOL!

Judith - that's amazing! I'm not sure how I'd like working with such little pieces. I might have to get some Christmas fabric out and give it a try.

Judith -

I cut strips and squares from my project scraps, too. I have done strips 1-1/2" but my smallest squares are 2" or 2-1/2".

I'm sewing together a crooked courthouse steps quilt now. Almost together and I will post a picture when the top is ready to go to the LongArm Quilter.

Judith, Love your little 9 patch.

Krista, what a stinking cute pony!!!!! Was it hard to do?

Just finished up a carving of a deer or a gazelle, haven't decided yet.
