Jean - I'm impressed you found a use for your oops so quickly. I have a couple projects that didn't quite go as planned that I held onto to do something with, but I haven't quite figured out what that something is yet LOL!

Michele - Those curtains looks great! What a wonderful idea for a new look.

Debbie - I need to get to work on my feedsack too. I think I have it all figured out now.

Michele, your curtains look great! I hope they make a huge difference for you in your kitchen.

I’m still trying to finish the cow hat lol! I really need to get it done. I’m hoping today is the day I get it finished. I’ll bribe myself with a cookie!

I'm binding this 4 season pinwheel quilt.

This is another finished 4 season pinwheel quilt.

And this is a finished animal print quilt. Most of the material was from the 10" square swap. They will all be donated to our local CASA office's clothes closet for children who are pulled from abusive homes.

Great quilts. The 10" square swaps were fun and very good for building up our quilt making stash.

Vanessa, beautiful work! AND, beautiful donation to children in need! I love that.

I had a neighbor who was fostering this young girl last summer- I had gifted her a crochet afghan and journal while she was with my neighbor, this gift was presented to her last summer when it was a consistent 100 degrees out for weeks on end... My neighbor would text me telling me she was wrapped up in her afghan again!! Even when it was 100 degrees out. Something so simple can mean so much to children. My heart was touched by that, but I didn't even stop to think I could make more and donate, so you've certainly inspired me to do so. xo

I am a member of our local quilt club too. We've been making veteran quilts. I volunteered to make a quilt as you go one. I still need to learn how to join the squares together but I was told it is easier to see it than have it explained.

Today I am not crafting - unless I get sidetracked (happens a LOT!). Getting ready for vacation trip and need to decide what sewing projects to take with me to do when my husband is working on projects at his son's house. LOL! I was trying to take projects already cut so I don't have to take cutting mat and rotary cutter and ruler, but again, so far that isn't happening. I don't want to run out of things to do. Even thinking of taking my tub of scraps with mat, rotary and ruler, so I can cut them into usable strips for when I get back. Anyone else have these problems?

And then, of course, often I take things to do and never do any of them. Oh, bothers!

Today I thought I would challenge myself with a simple embroidery machine applique project.
I need to refine my triming skills.

I am currently participating in a clinical drug trial for which I will have to be at a research facility for the next 4 days. I brought with me some reading, a book with patterns in it I want to trace and 2 projects: a quilt top I am embroidering on the seams and a cross stitch kit. I believe this would be sufficient.

That is so cute! Would a "got milk" shirt with the diaper cover be over the top?
