I finished up the quilt made from the blocks I found in a drawer last week. I did find a mistake in the piecing when I was quilting it.
Too bad -- it will keep someone just as warm as if it was perfect. Better finished than perfect is my new motto. Now on to the next UFO project...

Judith, Wowser is right!!! That is beautiful. I am looking forward to finishing my whole cloth quilt so I can put something colorful together. Getting a little tired of beige on beige.

I second that Darlene! What amazing work Judith. An Amish lady once said that no quilt is perfect because only God can be perfect. My mother in law told me that when I noticed 2 mistakes on the quilt I made.

Gorgeous quilt Judith! No one will know but you about any imperfections. Besides, that's what makes it unique. At least that what I like to say.

Theresa, that is so neat! We have some places in common! I grew up in Ogden. Our first house was in West Haven, just one road separated us from being in Roy. And now we currently live in Tremonton, which is right next to Corrine! Such a small world sometimes!

Beautiful quilt, Judith.

Today I made masks for party favors at the family Father's day barbecue.

Thanks to Grace for embroidering the lips on the blue fabric.

Grace -- Back in the beginning of mask wearing I made the plain rectangular ones but didn't like the gap at the sides so I just did a dart on each side. Makes it fit better.

Wow Judith! You have been busy. Those all turned out great!

I have been working on a garland for my swap partner and will have it finished today. I’m so excited! I also started helping my mom make some felt stockings. They came as a kit and she got one for each of my kids. So we spend the afternoon prepping everything and starting to sew on beads and sequins. It was actually a lot of fun and I would love to order some other projects from this company. Just another thing to add to my UFO list lol.

3...2...1...countdown to Christmas started!
If anyone does paper crafts, I have scanned vintage holiday cards. They are available by sending me a request. Samples are in the Farmgirl Barter section.

Oh no Vanessa! It’s almost Christmas in July! Lol. Time for me to figure what I’m making for everyone for Christmas so I can get started. Hopefully I can be done ahead of schedule this year, but knowing me that’s not likely lol!

all I have left to do is attach the elastic...

I fuse batik or print cotton fabric to white cotton lining with Lite Steam a Seam 2. I heard something by a doctor on tv today -- he said something about silk and an electrostatic charge being effective so I'm going to research using silk as a liner.

I didn't get to keep any that I made for Father's Day -- they disappeared like hotcakes.
