I’m almost finished with some 4th of July mason jar wraps. I also started making some stars so I can make a 4th of July garland. Also have a pillow I want to make if time permits. And in the middle of all this I’m finishing up a crochet project for a dear friend. I have so many projects going lol. Apparently my mind wanders way to much!

Several weeks ago, Nicole aka Texadane made me a cute 'Scotty Dog' for my trailer.. well,, it was 'sew' cute I just had to make an other one..
Mine is about 2/3rd the size of the one she made..

I found a scrap of Seersucker fabric... Perfect.. and in a plaid no less!

Today I am sorting out my scrap bin. Fortunately It's not quite as bad as defrosting the freezer or cleaning the oven but it's kind of like when you clean out a closet and you get everything out and then wish you had never started. I have a system, I will persevere.....

On Wednesday I finished a set of Mason jar covers. My mom plans to use them for the spoons and forks when we have summer bbqs and when we go camping. I love how they turned out!

I can't crochet anything requiring directions, either. My mind keeps wandering and I lose count, so I'm pretty much restricted to hats and Swiffer covers. I really admire people who can crochet and keep track of the directions.

Thank you all! I am actually the opposite. I feel like I have to have a pattern or I am lost. Creating a pattern actually scares me. Hopefully one day I’ll try something on my own. I like patterns that change stitches frequently, otherwise I get board and put it down.

My sweetie was tired of mason bee houses, so I suggested making stools. He found an easy pattern, bought a jig, and Bob's your uncle, he's happy. This one is the first he made,but he didn't like it so I upholstered it myself. The material was a pair of pin striped jeans.

I found another stack of scrappy quilt blocks in a drawer so today I'm putting them together into a quilt top. Another UFO adventure.
