Thank you all, your so kind. My sister has a quilting machine. Not a long arm, so she does everything by eye. She does a great job and I usually let her come up with an idea of what will work. Grace, This pattern is from that same Sewing With Nancy book I had emailed you about. You sew strips and then cut it up. The pattern said to put all the dark purple to make the middle square, I changed it up to what I thought looked good.

Michele, I just might have to challenge myself and make a table runner like this.
Nance Zimmern is ‘sew’ awesome!
She is truly missed.

Great pillows, Michele! The knitted one is great - good job on the homespun wool.

Grace, I am over the moon for your mug rugs.... The fabric is fabulous!!! I so miss camping/glamping, but I will always have the memories of all the camping trips I did get to do!

Michele, your table runner is beautiful. Love the colors and design.

Learning a new craft.... quilling. I did complete an ornament. Not perfect, but I like it. Still have a lot to learn, but what a fun craft. Hardly any dirty words were required LOL

It's hard to tell from the pic, but it is about 3 inches by 3 inches.

Theresa oh my gosh you got me giggling. lol your ornament looks great. Reminds of me a meat label I saw on the internet, the animal was humanly raised, but occasionally verbally abused. Lots of truth in that statement. lol

Thank you Michele. Yes, most of my crafts are judged by how badly I made a sailor blush!!!! However, I have yet to beat my DH in that category. LOL

I finished my next corner to corner. This one is Ron from Harry Potter. I am now working on Hermione. I'm hopeful that I can finish it this week.

Great job, Krista!! Would someone explain to me what a corner to corner is, please? I have an idea but I’m not sure…

Thanks everyone.

Karen, a corner to corner is basically like making tiny half double crochet or double crochet boxes and then working them diagonally from the bottom right corner to the top left corner. I prefer the half double crochet because they are tighter. I'll see if I can take a close up picture of them.

Karen, here is the next pattern I will be doing. Each box on the pattern consists of a chain 2 and 3 half double crochet. It looks like a tiny square.

Here is a close up of my crochet squares.

And this is the one I'm working on. Over half way done to show the direction it goes.

Very pretty pattern. I can't crochet worth beans so the illustration is as clear as mud to me but I'm sure the crochet gals know what it means.
