Who else loves these besides me??
I have 2 sets,, the cast aluminum set I found at a Thrift store for dirt cheap (under $20)

and the larger set, that is cast iron and uber heavy, is from my step-dad's mother's home... considering he is 85,, and his mom lived to be 91... I am guessing the set is from the 1960-70's...

I love both sets.... and have the most fondest memories of one of my aunt's,,, she lived in a little yellow farm house surrounded by vineyards, she had a set like this out in her shady back yard on the porch....
Great memories...

I always thought bistro sets looked very classy in a garden. I want to buy a tiny one for my patio. I live in a townhouse and have a postage sized patio, so tiny is necessary!

Grace both of your sets are lovely. I have always thought wrought iron lawn furniture is so welcoming and invites one to sit for a spell.

I have a child's wrought iron bench & chair. The little bench sits under my living room window on front porch. The chair is on my side porch (carport) and I use it as a plant stand. The bench is decorated for changing seasons.

Ooo, me!
I love a little bistro set in the garden. The white paint sets them off nicely.

Mine is in the garden. Small one like yours but bronze. They are heavy but at least they don't blow away! The large bench is gorgeous! Will give you a hernia moving it! Keep it there. A good spot to drink your wine! LoL! I coming over!

I love these older types of garden furniture! They remind me of France with all the swirls. You are lucky to have such nice sets to combine and enjoy!

Go for it! One thing about paint you can always redo it.

I have a 6' X 1' vintage wood garden bench in the middle of my living room which holds most of my gardening & cookbooks. There's not an inch that isn't covered with books. The top color is white but where the paint is chipping away there's yellow, pastel aqua, and more white. I leave it that way so I can see as the years went by the woman who owned the bench lovely painted it whatever color she wanted.
