Not because I want to, but hubby was put off work by the doctor, and has not had any money coming in since the first of January. My benefits, are not enough to keep us going, so I have put my name back to where I was employed last year.
I can only pray that the disability that hubby paid into, will start coming before long, then I can stay home.
When I first made the decision to stay home, I remember telling people that I did not work this hard, to earn a paycheck, and it is still that way, but it is work that I enjoy. Hubby gained weight since I have been home I have been cooking a lot, even things that I do not care for, but know that he would enjoy...seafood.(yuck)
I know, I am weird.
Thanks for letting me state my mind.
MJ

Oh Emma!! ((((BIG HUGS))). I have to go back to work too, we are on the verge of the whole paycheck to paycheck situation. But, I don't need to make a lot, just enough to supplement and save a little so the positive is I can really work where I want. Do something I really want to do. I wish you the best of luck and let us know how it goes!!!!

Cheers,
Heather

YEA, I don't want you to have to go back to work either unless you want to. Maybe you could do something to make money from home.

Oh, hubby just got his first check this morning, and I am soooooo happy. I am actually going to try to make soap. I did up two batches of tallow (first time) and am getting ready to start with the soap. I am nervous, as I have never tried this before, but plan on taking my time.
I am still not wanting to go to work (outside the home) as I do enjoy my home, and being with the children. This is the first time, since my divorce when the kids were babies, that I have been home.
Hubby received a check, but it is no guarantee that he will receive more, so I will be praying...

MJ,
Thinking of you. I hope you don't have to go back to work outside the home, if home is where you want to be. Will be thinking of you.

MJ, (((HUGS)))!!! I do so hope it works out so you don't have to do anything that you would raither not do, but if you do, I hope it is very temporary and the perfect fit for you as a mom and wife and needing a little cash to see you all through. I will be thinking of you and wishing you the very best!

I'm sorry you're in this situation -- prayerfully your payments will come in in a timely fashion. By the way Paycheck to paycheck is douable and there are worse things in life! We have lived that way for years with miltary pay & while it is often stressful God has NEVER failed to provide for our needs.

Blessings,

Holly

Yes, paycheck to paycheck is stressful. My husband is a teacher, and we still have my student loan to payoff and some from our wedding (long story, but despite my saying let's keep it small and inexpensive my husband wanted an all out party).

As Holly says, God has always provided for us. Since we had our son just over a year ago, I haven't worked full time. this has been a huge adjustment for me. I fill in about twice a month as an ER technician at the hospital, but most of my time is focused on babykins and getting inventory made for my new handcrafts business. I have a bazaar coming up in April, and then I'll spend the summer getting ready for the fall/pre Christmas events.

May you find work that you truly enjoy!

I pray everyday. If this is what has to be done, then I will get a call, and if GOD says to stay home, then I will not get the call.
If I do get a call, I will be asking about part time to see if that will help with the finances. If hubby starts to get regular disability, then there will be no question, and he knows that I am content to be at home looking after the home, kids and him.
Anyway, it is in HIS hands.
