Oh now I am so hungry for all of this. I may have to bookmark a recipe for each dish and make each actual dish.

Oh my goodness, I need to come and help eat all those goodies and join in some great farmgirl chatter. I am thinking about bringing some BBQ crockpot chicken. I love the aprons. You even have my favorite color. You must have known I was going to come. I'll have a glass of that sweet tea and chat for a while. You all have set a lovely table and everything looks good enough to eat. Thank you for the invite. I also brought a couple bottles of wine to have later if anyone wants a little.

Nancy and Judith a couple of the FarmGirls have summitted recipes - maybe more will too.

Lori I wasn't sure but I was hoping you were coming. So happy I have just the right apron for you. Your BBQ chicken crockpot will be a welcome addition to the table. Oh my, you're bringing wine too - bless your heart - I'll have the wine glasses ready - I may drink my sweet tea out of styro-foam cups but my wine has to be in wineglasses.

I will put my fruit salad recipe on when I find my recipe---I always forget the exact ingredients. I'll bring some wine too. Since I'm not a people person and rather quiet ---a glass or two will loosen my lips.

Barbara when you need to take a break from all of the hustle & bustle in the kitchen you may go out on the side porch and rock in one of the whicker rockers or sit on the deck in partial sun.

An invitation to all to wander around my house and Yellow Rose Cottage and if you find a place to sit quietly along or have a chat with another FarmGirl do so. We all may need our quiet moments.

Here is the French's green bean casserole recipe I like to use. I found other version that are made from scratch but I like this one good enough.

INGREDIENTS
6 Servings

1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup

3/4 cup milk

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) green beans, drained or 4 cups frozen or fresh green beans cooked

1 1/3 cups French’s Crispy Fried Onions, Original, divided

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix soup, milk and pepper in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Stir in beans and 2/3 cup Crispy Fried Onions.

Bake 30 minutes or until hot. Stir.

Top with remaining 2/3 cup onions. Bake 5 minutes until onions are golden brown.
You're done, enjoy!

Denise you're just in time. Put an apron on and join the other FarmGirls at the kitchen table. Julie will pour your iced tea. Your mom's cake sounds yummy.

Yellow Rose---too bad we can't all really come to your house. It makes me smile to think of it. It would be so nice to meet a special person like you. Rock on and cook and can on. I love to read all that you do.

Nancy, thank you for sharing your recipe. I wrote it down. Grace, the 15 bean soup looks soooooooo good. And I love fruit salad. I am so darn hungry I could eat a hippo. LOL. I think I will wander around and check out the yellow rose cottage. Being with all of you is so much fun.

I have never used an IP. It sounds like it must work pretty good for you girls to like it so well.

I'm late to the party! We were in Iceland for a Trip of the Lifetime with Josh and Brent aka Beekman Boys. SO FUN and they were so sweet and welcoming. Anyway, Sara, what a good idea, and I'm with the other gals, I wish it were in person. Farmgirls know how to put on a party that's for sure!
My contribution will be bacon wrapped shrimp, bacon wrapped water chestnuts, and bacon wrapped chicken livers and water chestnuts (rumaki), for those of us that like livers (yes, me!).
And a selection of some cold beers. Maybe for an appetizer after the main lunch and before night falls.
Good idea Sara!!!

Bacon wrapped anything is good. Please don't dip it in chocolate :-)

Lisa, my friend, so happy you are coming and please double wrap the bacon on the chicken livers. Can't have too much bacon. So happy you enjoyed your trip to Iceland.

Judith, bacon dipped in chocolate, you may be on to something.

OK Judith, I have an addition. Almonds dipped in melted chocolate topped with bacon bits. I'll get a few more pounds of bacon just in case.
Iceland was gorgeous, and the tour was super physical, but so worth it.
