Thank You for the welcome... I'm meeting some gals here in Colorado and will introduce them to this forum. I think they'll like it too. There is only 1400 people in our entire county. We don't even have mail service to our place because there isn't enough people to warrant hiring someone..lol. Makes it difficult to meet people unless your involved in the community. So, we've signed on with the search and rescue team in Dove Creek. Going to have to see if there are any activities we can go to.. Pretty quiet town...lol. So this is nice in the way that it helps me feel connected even when I'm isolated.
Blessings, Teri

Hi again PioneerSpiritLady! MaryJane and I wanted to create a way for isolated farmgirls, just like yourself, to connect with other like-minded individuals. I'm glad to hear that you feel the way you do! Getting involved in the search and rescue will certainly enable you to make some friends. It takes awhile to get settled into a new community, especially rurally. Is there still an active grange group, farmer's market or anything like that? I'm sure glad that you've found your way to MaryJanesFarm!! sunnily yours,

Hi,
I am dying to be part of the Mail Art group, I emailed a couple times off the project link, but have not heard back. Count me in if this is a go!!! I am so glad I found this site!!! I looked and there are no Farmgirl chapters in my area. I was thinking about starting one... but I am still thinking of a cool name! I looked at the mailart pics on the site... wow what creative women I am in the company of!!!

Hi, there, gals! Here's the link for where to sign up for the individual Farmgirl Projects: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/farmgirl-connection/mail-lists.asp . It should be working.
Niki - I'll let Meg know that you're interested!
Julie - I think that this link is what you're looking for - is it?
XOXO, Libbie

I wanted to remind ya'all of the farmgirl round up we are hosting here in Prosser May 24th - The local paper is doing an awesome job of covering it... the more of you that can come the better the event will be....We found out last night that we will have a gospel blue grass concert going as well- which will add to the excitment, as well as some antique tractors... If you are close enough we hope that you will come....The round up will be from 10-12 noon.

Rene- I would love to come, especially since Prosser is only about 2 hours away, but I am thinking that my travel money will have to be saved for the big move- but I will come if I can manage it!

Some of the gals that are more local are coming and it will be such a thrill... thanks to our local paper and the Market we are getting quit a "buzz" going about the event.. I am trusting it will be an awesome day! We will certainly keep you updated.. thanks for the interrest.
