Just saw this story on CBS news tonight and it really touched me...I'm not a quilter, but I do sew (ok, a little :)) but this lady makes quilts for injured soliders at Walter Reed Hospital out of jeans--after her story aired, she received a gazillion pairs of jeans, but now she needs quilting supplies....I thought it might be helpful to post here, in case anyone wanted to donate something. She seemed like such a wonderful individual...she and her husband, both retired, cut the denim squares nightly, and she sews all day at her kitchen table.
