Hey Farmgirls! Do any of you have a good green smoothie recipe? I have been wanting to try one for awhile now, but I'm afraid to mix one up and have it taste pretty gross. Also, do you just use a normal blender to mix it up?

I like to put some chopped kale, spinach, and fruit in my smoothies. Apples make for a great way to sweeten them. I had to learn to like them as I am not a smoothie person but they are so healthy. Many health food stores have free magazines with recipes in them. Good luck.

Thank you Betty and Lori. I'm still searching for the perfect smoothie. I have been using bananas as my fruit so now I'll try apples. I will also check out Trim Healthy Mama. Plus I still haven't tried any kale in my smoothies. I need to branch out a little more! Lol
