I don't know if any of you creative stitching ladies know about this magazine but I found it for the first time yesterday. MY oh my! Wearable art, just my sort of thing! There are some gorgeous long opera type coats and Aunt George there are some denim jumpers that have been repurposed in an amazing way... Prom dresses! If you have a chance check it out, this issue is a keeper.(some fun and funky jewelry and quilted coats too!
That sounds wonderful. I'll look for it. I'd love to see the prom dresses!! I have a wearable art long coat that I love! I've worn it for about 3 years now, every winter. My husband didn't believe me when I told him that people have offered to buy this coat right off of my back until he heard it himself. I get offers for this coat all of the time! thanks for the tip on this magazine.
Oh my....I went to the Belle Armoire website and found these submission guidelines. They have a special publication coming out with a submission deadline of June 15. The publication is about altered clothing....from thrift stores, repurposed, etc. Here is the link........SO........get them machines and creative juices flowing farmgirls!!!!
I bought their issue of altered clothing and refer to it often. Just lo9oking through the phots is such an inspiration. Although I did not pick up the current issue, I did loo through it for a long time the last time I was in borders. Those denim prom dresses were so hip!
