wanted to share a few images from the cottage garden that some of you gals helped me start.

I intend to sow some more seeds and get them put out in the garden and after I get the lawn mowed this week. I'll take a photo of the actual garden area, not just the single flowers.

The white and purple flower..a type of gladiola came from Babs..thanks Babs!
The cosmos and lunnaria I planted from a shaker container of wildflower meadow seeds..I have even more farmgal sees to get started real soon, but wanted you all to see some of the pretties already.

oh and the butterfly was one that we hatched out and released.
that image or one similar..I intend to enter into a local photo contest in Oct/November here.

Hey Jenny..I've been asked to do a photo shoot for a very large resturaunt here out on the beach..a resturaunt shaped like a ship..woohoo...it's a landmark resturaunt here and a tourist attraction! So..to be able to say that I did the food photos for their dessert menu will be a nice thing. :0) I'm excited about that!

well..that's Florida for ya though..we did have a freeze here a couple of weeks ago and some of my plants didn't fare too well.

Your pictures are beautiful as always Tina, thanks ! Gray and rainy here and everything is mostly brown. Saw a few pale green inches on the dafs and now with your pics I am sure Spring can't be far off. It's been so strange this year such extremes, a week ago we were buried in a very deep slush then ice storm with subsequent freezing. Today...rainy but 70 degrees. What about a nice long cool Spring ? Sure would be nice not to go from parkas to bathing suits!

my drake elm has that beautiful new green all over it..like a lime color of green but just really pretty..I love that new spring green that the plants and trees get.
I'm sure Spring will be right around the corner for you..in fact the 21st was the "official" calendar day for the First day of Spring!
So, it's here..just sometimes takes a few days to catch up.:0)
