Another good day at the thrift. I was walking around and looking at people's carts, and a lot of them didn't have anything, while mine was pretty full. Are they crazy, look at all the good stuff here, or maybe they are the sane ones. I won't think about that anymore. Anyway, most everything is put away now, has a new home, or is in the dishwasher having a bath.

My goodness Nancy Jo you really made a good haul. Really nice things. The little tea cabinet looks wonderful. I have thrifty envy. Haha!! MB

Nancy, you really found some treasures yesterday! Congratulations!

I am so thirft-store sick I can't stand it. Thrifting is the only good reason to go into town and I haven't been able to slip away for over a month. Hubby as been taking my truck and leaving the kids and I afoot. Even the kids seem to miss our treasure hunts, they have been asking to go to Miss JoAnns thrift store almost every morning.

BAREFOOT,
My goodness, now if you lived near me I could pick you up and you could go with me. I hope things improve on the transportation front for you real soon. No thrifting can't be good for anyone.

You know that new embroidery book I got today in the mail, well its a dandy. There must be 100 or more transfers in there for ironing on a design. Plus lots of info on how to embroider. So now I have a lot of new ideas running around in my head. Maybe I will embroider some clothing. The apron I embroidered came out nice, but I hadn't thought about putting a little design on a blouse or something. The book is pictured on my blog.

Nancy-jo, I went to your blog to enjoy all your finds. You always do so well. I'd love to visit your thrift store. I saw your big upstairs bedroom with 3 beds. It must be a huge room. Did you do the embroidered samplers? They are so pretty. And I just loved the "pot" next to the bed. I've been hunting for one,but it will have to be a steal. I can't afford 40.00 dollars or more for accessories.

Too blessed to be stressed!

HI TEDDIE,
Thank you, and yes I embroidered the samplers, made several over the years. The bedroom up there is pretty big, It was my girls room when they were home. Wish my bedroom on the main floor was that big.I have two of those pots, have had them for a few years. Got them at garage sales and didn't pay much. I think, like you said, they are a lot more now.
