Woohoo! A local lady is moving to Georgia and had a moving sale today, I got a buttload of stuff for $200:

an apartment size dryer (perfect for the hog barn)
a metal desk (for the barn)
a wringer washer (to plant flowers in this summer)
an awesome wooden swingset with slide (a steal at $75)
a sewing machine with table and seat
4 rolls of horse wallpaper (just enough for my dd's room!)
2 stock pots
a ton of books
2 antique crock bowls

I'm so excited, we have to go back for the big stuff this weekend, but I think I did pretty well...and now hubby can do his own laundry at the barn...no more smelly laundry for me...it's such a freeing feeling! I love a good buy!

What a day for you! Glad you got to take advantage of the sale and come up with all those great finds :)

And an extra woo hoo for not having to do the smelly laundry!

Ashley,
That was a good haul for sure. Why would you have a dryer in the hog barn? I was brought up on a farm, but this is a new one for me. What kind of books did you get?
