Hi Everybody-
I'm Nancy, another wannabe farmgirl. I live on 5 acres about 20 miles east of Seattle. We bought our property 2 years ago and have been working on it and the hose. We currently have 6 five week old chicks, and one cat. I'm hoping to add some nigerian dwarf goats this year and possibly some alpacas next year (just for pets). We need to get some fencing done. In my previous life I showed arabian horses and worked for several large trainers in Oregon and California.

I love gardening-we have a 25 x 60 fenced in area for our garden. We have lots of deer, bobcat and bear, and now the bunnies seem to be invading so a fence is a must around here. My other hobbies include scrapbooking, hiking, and kayaking. I love all animals

Hi to Seattle, Nice to meet you from Iowa. I have visited Washington a couple of times as I have relatives in Mesa, Wa. Your acerage sounds delightful. Have you ever been to the midwest?

Hello from N.J. and welcome, sounds like a great place you have. Showing Arabians, you are quite a horsewomen! I admire that. I never rode an arabian but I know if you can handle them, you can handle just about any horse. You'll love this site. Michele

Thanks for all the hellos ladies!

I do miss the horses-just not enough time or $$ right now. We have found 2 kittens we will be bringing home Friday in the meantime.

MBurns-no, I have never been to the Midwest. I do have a dear friend from Nebraska if that counts

I look forward to "chatting" with you all more.

Nancy

Welcome Nancy! I am just south from you in Oregon. Wonderful to live in the Pacific Northwest isn't it?
