Hello fellow farmgirls. I was wondering if there were any other Navy farmgirls out there. I was a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Seabees for 8 years, 1994 to 2002. It was the greatest asventure i have ever had and I miss it a lot. But now I'm a farmer, and that is shaping up to be a pretty awesome adventure in itself. I have only had my little farm for 2 years now, but I love my goats and chickens.

Maggie, I'm not military just wanted to thank you for your service. Will be looking for you around the Farm to learn more about your farm, chickens and goats.

Hi Maggie, I wasn't in the military but my brother was in the navy in the lat 70's. I would love to hear about you adventures and thank you for all you did for our country! I would be willing to bet both adventures are different in many ways, but it sounds like you enjoyed both. Welcome to the farm and enjoy the goats, chickens and the great outdoors and join in any or all of the discussions here at MJF.
