I have a couple of roses that have been in containers for a couple of years, but they are not blooming. Are the plants dead? I was pregnant last summer and neglected everything. Thanks!

Hi Lauram and welcome to MJF! If your plants are no longer leafing out, chances are they have expired! If you have leaves it's possible that you need to adress the root system (possible pot bound) and loosen up the roots very gently and place in some new fresh and enriched( w/ compost) potting medium. Or you could place directly in the ground w/ the soil amendments and root loosening and see how they do. I know how you feel,we have 12 blueberry bushes that have been in pots now for way too long!
