Hi farmgirls, I wanted to pass along a link to make these little pin cushions, I made two this evening - a great way to use up scraps.

Can you spot the imposter?

They are just *darling*! I love tomato pincushions - they remind me of my mom's sewing "stuff." Thanks for the link!

I think I will go for more the Victorian look and use a a rich looking material with maybe a bit of bling on top. I'm not real sure on the instructions on how to gather the top.

Oh Meggie SEW cute! I'm a nut for sewing "accessories". The best pattern I've seen for these! Leave it to Martha, huh? You did a great job, and I love your photo with the real deal-you're sew clever!!
Nancy, can't wait to see your version!

Thank you so much ladies! I'm glad you enjoyed them.
As to the stuffing, I just used what i had around, some poly stuffing wrapped around some scraps. They would probably work better with some wool/cotton batting though. They are a little on the light side.

Nancy Jo, a victorian one sounds great. Some of the girls on my other sewing board are using silk scraps, and making fancy beaded leaves. Can't wait to see yours when it's done.

I just made one, it's too cute! I still need to add the "leaves", but the rest of it is done. They stitch up fast!

You may have to search through all of the pages on Martha Stewarts website to find it.

I brought the pattern up when this was first posted, but now it is no longer on martha's site. Was that a 10 in by 6 in rectangle to start with?
