They are just *darling*! I love tomato pincushions - they remind me of my mom's sewing "stuff." Thanks for the link!
XOXO, Libbie

I think I will go for more the Victorian look and use a a rich looking material with maybe a bit of bling on top. I'm not real sure on the instructions on how to gather the top. NANCY JO

Oh Meggie SEW cute! I'm a nut for sewing "accessories". The best pattern I've seen for these! Leave it to Martha, huh? You did a great job, and I love your photo with the real deal-you're sew clever!! Nancy, can't wait to see your version! Thanks for sharing Meggie! Rhonda

Thank you so much ladies! I'm glad you enjoyed them. As to the stuffing, I just used what i had around, some poly stuffing wrapped around some scraps. They would probably work better with some wool/cotton batting though. They are a little on the light side.
Nancy Jo, a victorian one sounds great. Some of the girls on my other sewing board are using silk scraps, and making fancy beaded leaves. Can't wait to see yours when it's done.

I just made one, it's too cute! I still need to add the "leaves", but the rest of it is done. They stitch up fast! |

I brought the pattern up when this was first posted, but now it is no longer on martha's site. Was that a 10 in by 6 in rectangle to start with? |
