LOL! Katie. I just promoted her to hostess. She may not want it. I hope she will take it over, though. Please Grace??

An hour to go and it looks like we are at 10 Christmas mini apron swappers. Can't wait to see your creations. I will be making mine when I get home from the cruise. Maybe I can find some interesting Christmas fabrics at a cruise shopping stop. LOL!

Signups are closed at 10.

If everyone would please wait until around November 9 to mail them to me I think the post office holding my mail would be appreciative. LOL! If you have to mail out early, no problem.

I will tuck mine into the mail on the 10th of Nov.

I will need to mail mine before 11/9, I have to leave for a conference on 11/8, sorry. I hope you have a great cruise Linda!!. I'm hoping Orlando is warm next week when I'm there. Last year it was in December, temps in the 50-60 which was great to me being from Minnesota, but it was funny to see people in winter coats in that weather.
I'm trying to find some specific trim and of course what I want I cannot find, so I need to rethink my apron plan...

Denise, my DIL grew up in Wisconsin. As soon as the temp drops into the 50-60° range she is all bundled up. It is so funny. Of course when I went up there with them in mid June, 19 years ago, we went to Duluth. People were wearing shorts and coats!!! It was cold to us but why on earth were they wearing shorts??? I reasoned that when they saw June on the calendar it meant summer to them.

Are you still in the travel trailer, or in your home? Stay warm. It is hard to be creative when you are cold.

Marilyn,
I had a classmate in Nursing school, he wore shorts year round, even when it was below zero weather he would show up in shorts. Even in march or April if the weather is above freezing you seen people in shorts, sometimes flip flops. I will go without a jacket, if I'm in and out of the car a lot or don't want to bring in my jacket.
looks like low 80s on Orlando this week.
I might not be able to mail my aprons until Sunday, hopefully I can send them tomorrow.

Hi everyone. I have my aprons finished but I have to wait until I have a ride to the post office to mail. I can't drive anymore because of my seizures (bummed). They should go out tomorrow or Saturday.

Well I got mine out in today's mail...(our lil P.O. will be closed tomorrow) ..

I wish I had my sewing room set up... still in a holding pattern on the house in Escrow until the surveyor gets the property lines squared away.

I certainly hope everything will be done before Turkey day...
Fingers crossed... in the mean time... it is nice to have my Fall themed minis hanging in the 5-Wheel to keep me in the festive spirit!

Mine went out in today's mail and shouls arrive in Texas by next Thurs /Fri.

Thank you sew much dear Linda for hosting the swap for 2017... and I look forward to hosting it through out 2018.

I'll post. It's start - up in January ..... with Valentine. Being our first swap.
So you have a bit of a rest and time to think about your design for February's Valentin's mini apron swap!!! Heeheehee.!!!
