My daughter picked all of the fabrics and placed them where whe wanted them. Also the mismatched buttons. She was so proud to design this dress. She is only 7. I don't know how to post to MJ's, so if you would like to see it, check my blog.
Thanks,
G

That dress is darling! You've got quite a little designer on your hands there Georgann... The labels and skirts in your previous posts are awesome too...wonderful fabrics! Wishing you lots of good luck at the shop, I would buy!

The dress is so cute!! I also really like the tags on your other items. It's great to know which moon they were made under!

Oooh Georgann that dress is awesome! She did a wonderful job designing. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, hope you're better soon. And congrats on the sale of your first skirt!! I'm sure there will be many more to come.

Blessings....
Sarah

Hi, Georgann. I went ot your blog to check out your daughter's dress. I recognize that shiny white fabric as my son has a cape from it. He wore his so long that it no longer fits (I also had to replace the ribbon tie straps three times!)

anyway, I love how you gathered the skirt to make it a twirly skirt on the dress. brings back memories of soft dresses for my daughter.

Just want to tell you also that your panel skirts are lovely. No wonder they are selling!! Very pretty, soft and feminine. I bet the teenagers think they are the best. You and tasha are really making me itch to make a skirt this weekend. i got flannel pj bottoms done and a magic cape (black this time around) for my son this week.

Thanks for posting. Love to see your handwork.

Thanks everyone. It is wild looking, but she is pleased with the results and so that is all that matters! I think it is rather cute too. I try to get them envolved. Would love for them to learn to sew and create and not follow in every one else's way of dress. My girls are becoming free thinkers and they don't follow the trends at school so far...Hmmm...that may soon change though, I rather hope not.
