The package from you came today and wow, am I excited. I'm even saving the stamps!! I LOVE the magazines (even though I already had the Hiver MC Idees - oh well! This one's FRENCH!). The one with the transfers is the one I got in Paris and I love it!! I was hoping it was the one you picked up. And the mitt is in my favorite color - yellow!!Thanks also for the teas. Love it all!! I'm working on your Snackeesack. I think you'll love it. The fabric was pulled out of my "treasures that are waiting for something very special" stash. It's a fabulous Art Nouveau!

Would you be willing to send these magazines when they come out? I can, of course, pay $$ or trade like we did this time.

Once again, THANK YOU!!

Love,
Patricia

PS Are you in the St. Laurant in the South near Spain? Stuie knows it.

Bonour, gal pal Patricia! Glad you got the package safe and sound, and yep, I always save French stamps when I get them, too. I am so sorry you already had one of the mags, dang it all! Glad you like the color yellow; I figured it was so cheery that it was a good choice; my bathroom in Norfolk is BRIGHT yellow now and I love it since I have gotten used to it! I will be happy to send you the mags on a regular basis. We can work something out! Just tell me exactly the names on them and when they come out. (Brainfade on my part). I think the Marie Claire Idées is quarterly but don't remember about the embroidery one. I subscribe to a garden mag so don't have to frantically search for that one. But every time we go to the grocery store I peruse the magazine aisle to make sure I am not missing something else I might want. Yes, your hubby is right on the money; André said there are lots of villages that share the name Saint Laurent. It only takes us about 30 minutes in the car to hit the border of Spain. REALLLLLYYYY looking forward to receiving YOUR package, too!!! Love, Nance

Bonjour, Mon Ami!! Nance, it's coming along beautifully. Lots of handwork, beading, quilting and embroidery so it will take a little while but I think yo're really going to love it. The mags I want are the ones you sent - the Marie Claire Idees and Ouvrages Transferts. They say the next one will be at the "kiosque" on 27 fevrier. Woo hoo!! There is the most beautiful wisteria transfer in this one. I'd love to do it in purples and maybe a couple of blues. Project 362Q as Stuie would say. Merci encore!

Avec amour,
P

It was such a great day having Kay and Missy over. Stu made a fabulous lunch (including my sour cream chocolate walnut pound cake) and we yackked and had a great time! It just wasn't long enough. Next time we're going to take the day and go to Portland's great shops (like the Button and Ribbon Emporium - yum!) Nance, you'll have to join us one of these days!

Sounds like you farmgals had a great time, albeit too brief. And what a guy Stu is, at home in the kitchen like my husband! Give me about 36 hours notice before you gas up the car next time (yeah, right)! Nance
