| Does anyone know how to bake a yeast bread in a cast iron skillet on the stove? Jim wants to try this and I've made bread many times, but never on the stove. I've seen cornbread recipes doing this, but not a yeast bread...help...thanks |

Wow, Jan, - I don't know how this slipped by me, but there are some great recipes for "Farmgirl Panbread" in MaryJanes Farm Kitchen magazine! It's not yeast bread; it's leavened by baking powder and baking soda, and it's wonderful! Kind of like a non-yeasted pizza dough - I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

You can go to the top of this page and click on HOME then when you get to the page click on the MaryJanes farm logo at the top left of that page and it will take you to the shop...go to where it says products or something like that and you can mail order a copy. It is my favorite ever...a must have!!! Good luck!!

Oh - Jan - one more thing that I should mention -- the recipes are made with MaryJane's Farmgirl Budget Mix, so you might want to look into that, also. Enjoy, and happy cooking!!!
