Hi all farmgirls,

I have been extremely busy lately - getting an herb garden redone,
searching the internet and stores for a non-bridesmaidy dress for my aunt's wedding (the entire bridal party all be over age 55, my aunt
is re-marrying at age 62 after being widowed 10 yrs. ago), year-end church and school activities, etc.

For something to do in the Fall I evening adult ed courses and this fall I will be offering "walking meditation".

Has anyone ever done anytime of meditation exercises? Have you been
successful (i.e. did it help you relax?) We will be focusing on a
nature walk at a nature preserve, stopping along the paths reading
poetry, playing music (native American flute, harmonica, etc. - simple
instruments). Has anyone ever done this type of "exercise" for the
mind, body and soul? Ideas??

Wishing everyone a good Spring and Summer,

Cecelia

Hi both of you. I also meditate, sommetimes with the panpipe music and sometimes with out. Have never heard of a meditation walk, but love the idea of it, it would be amazing. My favourite place to meditate is this little stream not far from us, hang my legs in the water, close eyes and meditate. Really recharges me when I amm gettiing close to burning out. Better than a good nights sleep.

Tried to see your pics Clare, but it said, :check with owner, file you are looking for is inaccessible:

A great oak, is just a little nut which held it's ground.

Oh Helen, your place to meditate sounds heavenly! Thanks for the nice visual! Jenny from kansas By the way... what time is it there in NZ? I was trying to figure the time change... are you behind me about 7 or so hours?
