| Is there no other way to attach a photo to my profile than via a URL? That would mean that I have to have it on a website somewhere or know our server's URL, no, if I even had a server at home? Won't cookies take care of keeping track of what your picture is once you give an original to look at, even if on one's own computer? |

At this time, there is no other way. I'm sure there are websites out there that will let you host images, probably some for free. Once you have a picture of yourself on a server, you can view that image in a web browser and copy and paste the URL you are looking at. Make sure the URL ends in .gif or .jpg so you know you're looking at the URL of the image, not a page that contains the image.
There are some forums that allow a person to upload their own image. I am looking into the possibility of incorporating that feature here, but it's possible that, if this forum were to become popular, the images would become a burden on our server. It shouldn't be a problem if we all keep the images small, so I'm looking into it.

How can I get my picture with my profile? I'd like to use the one from the magazine (the profile one)
