You would have loved the chocolate event I went to 2 weeks ago. From salad to desserts! Nearly put us all in a coma! LOL!

BTW when you get to your Pa friend you will be 2 hrs. from me. You will be near Hershey, the Chocolate Capital of the world! Yummy!

Darlene... I am will to make the sacrifice to go into a 'chocolate coma'...lol!
Hubby swears I don't bleed blood,,, I bleed chocolate... lol!
And yes,, I do like 'Chocovina'... chocolate red wine...lol!
Fingers and eyes and legs crossed that next year hubby and I will be on the road,,, and if we do make it to PA... I will for sure get hold of you... I see a 'Chocolate fix' in our future! lol!
Give me some chocolate, and no one gets hurt!

Ed and I have talked about taking our motorhome cross country and visiting farmgirls along the way. You never know - we may call and say we will be on your doorstep. LOL!

I cut the fabrics for my western Mimi's tonight. Now that the jeans are patched, the ATCs are made and card swap cards are done and the funeral is over...perhaps I can concentrate on sewing.

Hey Daizy girl... you will sew 9 mini's,,, send all 9 to Linda along with a pre-addressed and pre-postaged return mailer envelope. I just bought a couple of the manila padded envelopes.. $1.88 for a pkg of 2,,, the 10" size.
Plus include a $1 to cover any possible shortage in the postage.
I put $3.50 in postage on my return envelope ... but my minis are kinda heavy so who knows,, that is what the additional $1 is for, incase the postage is more.
Oh and Daizy,,, watch your mailbox... sent you a pattern... :>)

Since I was an 'over achiever '... I had several western minis left which worked out well... to tuck into a couple of birthday cards...
Tucking in a sweet lil mini apron into a card can't help but bring a smile to the recipient's face...

That's a great idea, Grace. These minis are so neat! I am going to make some of the bottle cover aprons and sell them at the little shop where I just put some of my aprons, microwave bowl potholders, crayon roll-ups, and stuff. In 1-1/2 weeks I've already sold enough to give me $40!!

I finished my western aprons this morning, so mine are done! I hope to start the patriotic today or tomorrow.
Unfortunately, cleaning house comes in first, since Ed is at this moment in Arkansas, on his way here from Michigan with his sister, who is moving here and staying in a small apartment at Ed's place. They will be stopping here to sleep tonight, since her apartment needs a bit of cleaning before she can settle in. It has mostly been cleaned and made ready, by Ed and I, and I must tell you - it was a mess! It had been used as a storage and catch-all area for the past 5 years. First we had to clean the garage, to make room for all the tools and other "junque" he had collected. LOL! Then, installing the sink was not the easyproject he thought it would be. Several trips to Lowe's later and I'm glad it is done.
