The vet( who is my cuz) just left here and he told me it looked like we were back in the ballgame. I have had her on a lunge line and she is showing no signs of any problems. I get to ride her next week. I can't put her on barrels for another 2 weeks but can just do some ground work and just a little riding to see if I can feel or spot anything. YIPPEE!!!!! I'm back in the saddle again......(hope that don't curse me for saying that). All the test from taking her to Birmingham came out good. So that's mean there is no permant damage.I just have to wait and take it slow for right now. Maybe I will be able to hit the rodeo circuit come March.

Oh Gosh! No one knows how happy I am. Actually I have 2 cousins who are vets. It's neat having them in the family but sometimes the family gets put on the back burner for other calls and I can understand. I am soooooo ready to get doing groundwork but I'm scared that I will be over excitied and push Dass to much. Just going have to learn how to hold my horses. excuse the bun.

A vet in the family...how nice would that be? Providing they were good, of course. Then again, I've got a photographer in the family and it's never meant a discount on anything...

Glad to hear Dass is doing better and that there's no permanant damage!
