Hi Beemoosie. I'm so glad you posted here - I've been trying to contact you by e-mail, but couldn't get through. For some reason in the past two days, I've been getting bounced e-mails from everything you've subscribed to on the forum. I've received about 300 e-mails bouncing from your account. Our policy is to cancel the subscriptions manually here so that we don't continue to get the e-mails, since most of the time this happens it's because of a cancelled e-mail account. But you had subscribed to so many topics that I was only able to cancel about half of them due to time constraints (I have to go to a master page of all subscribers and cancel each topic subscription one at a time and then wait for the page to reload.) Anyway, something is causing your e-mails to bounce. Could you research that at your end and see what's happening? (might be you've exceeded your limit of space in your e-mail account, or your e-mail server is down, or something like that) Then when you do start receiving e-mail again, you might have to resubscribe to some of the topics, since I deleted them down through "Barnyard Buddies." Thanks! Carol

I am SO sorry! I never deleted old subscribtions to faded out topics! I took care of that, but still don't know why I am no longer receiving e-mails from Maryjane's. I seem to be getting everything else. I even checked my blocked sender list to make sure I didn't send them there by accident. Well, at least now you will not be getting my bounced e-mail! Bonnie

Hi Bonnie. I got a bunch more bounced e-mails this morning, but when I go to subscriptions, I don't see that you're subscribed to anything anymore. So they must have been sent before you deleted your subscriptions. The message I got on the bounced e-mails was this:
Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server.
So it looks like something on your end causing the non-delivery. Maybe you can call your service provider to find out? Sorry you're having trouble, and hope you can fix it so that you can still subscribe!
Good luck! Carol

Hi! I am not receiving any e-mails for the forums I have subscribed to. For the last, oh, 24 hours. I checked everything and nothing on my profile has changed.
The subscriptions I have to a different forum I belong too, are coming through fine.
I unsubscribed and resubscribed so I am not sure what's up? Thanks!
Blessed Be!

Same here. I haven't received emails for almost 2 days. I looked on my end and can't see why. I check my mail several times a day. It's not on overload, nor on blocked list. Can you check for me also?
Thanks, gloria g. Richards, TX

Same for me as well! I'm on the computer all the time at work, and nothing is coming through from MJF at all. Thanks!

I just tried un-subscribing and re-subscribing, and that didn't seem to work. The only thing I've done different was that I placed a MJF order on Monday, but I don't think that would have anything to do with the e-mail functionality.

Hi girls. We don't know what's happening with your subscriptions, but we're looking into it. I'll post here when we get to the bottom of it.
Thanks! Carol

I'm still not getting anything either, but to make up for it, my MJF order arrived today--such fast delivery! So, now I can't wait for my lunch break here at work--should I have Thai Fusion or Pueblo Stew while I look through the Mary Jane's Stitching book?! So, I won't miss my lack of e-mail too much today! Hi girls, As you've probably seen, the subscription feature is now working again on our forum and you should all be receiving e-mails now for anything you've subscribed to. Our ISP and tech-support group (a whole team of people in town that keep our servers, our store front, and our forum working behind the scenes) moved us onto bigger, faster servers last week and whenever you do things like this, you experience some glitches. This was one we didn't forsee.
There's a tremendous amount of time and effort that goes on behind the scenes here on our forum and on our website. One of the things that you all can help us with is keeping your e-mail accounts up-to-date on your forum profile. When those go out-of-date, it can sometimes cause lots of work for us. For instance, if you're subscribed to multiple forums (some people subscribe to LOTS), and you change your e-mail address or your inbox is full, all those subscription alerts come back to me. Then I have to go into the "all subscriptions" page and delete each one of the subscriptions for your account ... one at a time! Since that page is large and takes a long time to load, this can be a lengthy process - sometimes it takes a 1/2 hour to just delete one person's subscriptions! So you can see, keeping your subscriptions up-to-date (go in periodically and delete the ones you don't need any longer) and your e-mail addresses up-to-date can make my job a lot easier - and give me more time to work on the books and magazines you all look forward to!
Thanks for all your lovin' farmgirl support! Happy May! Carol

Hi Gloria. Your e-mails are bouncing back to me, so I think it's a problem with your account, not the subscription feature. That seems to be fixed now. Your account says something like, "unable to deliver due to extended inactivity of e-mail account." This message is from your e-mail server, not our forum. E-mail me privately with details of your account if it's changed from what you have listed on your profile.
Thanks Gloria! Carol
