Amie; Not offended at all. I actually grew up in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and headed to the martimes when I was 14. (okay, I didn;t grow all the way up) I get excited to visit now, but only as I can see things through the eyes of my children. Faith is now 17 and Matthew is 16. I get excited at home, seeing things that I have not yet seen. We went to Halifax not long ago, and I did walk along the docks...and there is a museum of the Titanic.....A W E S O M E ! Citadel Hill is an old fort (cannons and all) I could still go for days and not see all I want to see. Thank you all for welcomes, and letting me be part of such a wonderful group..... Mary Jane

Hi EmmJay,
You sound like you have a beautiful place. I didn't get a chance to look at the photos yet, but I will. Welcome to the forum.

Hi,Emmjay, welcome! I haven't been to NS yet, but I sure hope to someday as I have a dear friend of 38 yrs who lives near Yarmouth. She lives on the water on an old farm too. You are so lucky to have 400 acres! I love your pics too!
