Wow, love the collection, but I don't have any suggestions other then they work well for hammering on decorative snaps.

Lucky you with all the spools. I have to keep my eye out for them. I had gotten rid of all mine and now I could kick myself as I could use them. Pinterest is full of ideas. Have you ever looked on there? Always fun to be in the sewing room!

You can make some cute decorations with a spoolie as a base (my friend occasionally hosts a spoolie swap). Here's one I made last summer:
