Took a few pictures while waiting for Richard to clean out his tool box. Going off to the store to stock up on a few things in case this ice storm they are talking about decides to come this way. So far just rain.
I told Richard to hide my camera, its early in the day and I might want to take more pictures later.

Just came upon your post, Nancy, and loved looking at the photos. I just love other people's photos. Hey, can I go with you to your thrift store next time?

Farmgirl hug,
Patricia

Woo hoo!! Actually I used to live in Oneida, which was a lot closer than I am now in Portland.

Nancy Jo, I love your pictures. You have such fun stuff. Where did you get the paper dolls? When everyone talks about going to thrift stores, are you talking Goodwill or something similar or are these vintage stores? Been to Goodwill and I don't find fun stuff.

The store I go to most is a AMVETS thrift store. Sometimes I go to a Salvation army one. The thing with thrift stores is you have to stay there a while, not just walk in and out. I have found some of my best stuff after walking the same isles two or three times. There is another little store I have been to, I would like to go to again, its run by two older women, its small and the prices are a little higher but some really cute things, I got a beautiful pedestal cake stand there for four dollars. See that would be a lot at a thrift store. Then come spring its garage sales.

Jan,
Forgot, the paper dolls were at the thrift store last week. That was an unusal find I thought, but you never know what you will find there.

Nancy Jo, I'm just going to have to get out my phone book and see what's around these parts thrift store wise. I'm still learning where things are. Now you've got me interested. That would give me something to do while I'm waiting out the winter. Love a bargin!
