Marie I understand. I have had my sewing area in the bedroom, in the dining room and a laundry room. So I appreciate I can have a dedicated room. I had a old kenmore sewing machine in a cabinet, so it could be broken down. And put back up again it was supra heavy, I think I could have sewn anything with that machine.

I have finished a UFO!

I made this tawashi for my boss who is on maternity leave. I wanted to make something for her to enjoy. It looks green in the photo but it is actually purple/lavender/blue/green.

I finished one of my late gift UFOs this morning. I can't say what it is or post a picture until I send them to her. LOL!
The other gift (and one like it for me - LOL!) is 1/3 done.

It is totally understandable that you don't post a picture of a gift to a farmgirl. Congratulations on another UFO finished!

Great job on the tawashi, Marie! I haven't made one yet; but of course, printed off the pattern. Not a UFO. Just another dream.

Finished moving and setting up my sewing/craft room in a spare bedroom. It's about 8x8. So, I am blessed with that much room.
Sorry to post so many pics but I'm hoping to earn a smiley face off them. Forgot to take a pic of the inside of the closet behind the shoe bag. I have binders of recipes, crafts and patterns and my mailing/packaging supplies. Finally, I am cutting out those burp cloths. So, I will show those when done. DGD is at birthing center now with pains. Its a couple of weeks early though.
The matching dresser and chair are part of my mother's furniture. I also have a mirror, desk and magazine rack to match that set. Treasures. The boxes on the dresser have embroidery threads.

Isn't is fun to have your MJF#, Bridge!?!

Ok I had some heart problems last year and did not get to touch my sewing machine. So hopefully I will get to do more This year. I have about 10 quilt tops to quilt. Maybe with your support I can get them done. I don't want to make another quilt until I get these done. Yeah right! But I have so many I want to make. URGGGGGG

Judith I have four of those tubs right now... one is fabric "scraps" (I need another just for those!), one is plastic canvas, one is cross stitch & embroidery, and one is felt. I'd like to get one for Christmas craft supplies... and maybe another for just craft supplies... Then again if I would just use up my stuff I wouldn't need so many supplies ;)

Ah Shannon, you never know when you will need that little piece of scrap and you will feel guilty not saving every little bit that is useable. I like to say, "Stuff never goes away, they turn into supplies for UFOS."

I would love to be included in this challenge-I guess my first UFO is to organize my craft room. Next will be to brutally look at the clothing I have collected for my blog-another UFO-and get rid of all I don't "love." Then yarn projects-purse from ruffled yarn and teddy bears from eyelash yarn. Also have lots of fleece to do something with.

Is that ALL, Judith? I probably have at least that much. LOL! I have 2 tubs/boxes of Jeans, 5 3-foot shelves of folded fabrics, 1 tub Christmas fabric, 2 tubs/bags of scraps, 1 drawer of strips, 5 boxes/bags of cut (2"-2-1/2"-3-1/2"-4-1/2"-6-1/2"), a HUGE tub of selvages, 1 tub of florals, 2 tubs of 30s, 1 tub of Raggedy Ann fabrics (yes! a whole tub, my mother collected it), 5 tubs of UFOs, 20 sorted "kits" to finish, 12+ hangers and bolts of fabrics (some for backings), and more UFOs out the whazoo, etc. LOL! I am a collector of fabrics - and sewing machines (I have 24)!

Sylvia, I have added you to our list of UFO Finishers. Be aware that I will also accept garage/attic/basement cleaning, shelve hanging, green house erecting, room painting and furniture refurbishing as UFOs. If the projects have been left undone for a year or more, they are all eligible.

I have many, many kits to do/finish also. Some that I no longer want are going in the Traveling Craft Box. I suggest that anyone who has an excess of supplies to consider signing up for the next Traveling Craft Box. The current box has just started going around so there is time to set stuff aside.

Thanks Marie-I have lots and lots of UFO type stuff-no basement or attic here but have the house we live in and two on our farm that we are remodeling. Luckily have a painter/contractor son for that kind of work. I have a furniture refinishing piece that has been a UFO since around the time my some was born-29 years! Also lots of cleaning, decluttering, and organizing here! I will look into the traveling craft box.

Uncle, uncle, Linda! Lol! I give up! At least you are prolific and finish so many items. I'm looking for a featherlight. They are bit high for me online. I'll keep looking though.
