Each month a new block (or more) will be posted and a new thread will begin for each new month. I hope many of you will join in and we will have a lot of new quilts to show off in 12 months or less.
You can join in at any time. We'd love to have you!
NOTE: Please be sure to "Subscribe" to this thread so you don't miss anything.
This month there are 2 blocks. As always, you can do one, two, or none of them. Your choice. These blocks will be yours, so choose your fabrics and quilt away. Make table runners, quilts, wall hangings, or potholders with them - your choice.
NOTE: All patterns come from The Quilter's Cache/Marcia Hohn.

Both of these blocks are easy, and make great quilts. Have fun with these blocks. Please post pictures.

WOW! You beat me! Love your purples. That will be a great quilt. I love that many easy quilt block patterns look complicated when finished. After all, except for appliqued block patterns, most quilt blocks are made up of squares and triangles.

I have my January blocks finished! I had a stack of Christmas themed fat quarters that I needed to use and I decided to make this a Christmas quilt. |

Great news, Kathy. Welcome! Please go also to the February patterns. And, if you want to go back, there are about 7 months of patterns from 2016. I can't wait to see your blocks. Everyone uses different fabrics and it is interesting to see the different outcomes.

One done with my new machine. Bottom row is off, need to rip and resew. The new machine is so much better than my o,d one. |
