We have our house on the market... so I have had to put aside a lot of my projects (interpret as: hide everything)...lol!
Anyhow,,, I needed to get a few aprons finished and managed to do so yesterday.. Whew!
I call these my 'free style',, as I do not use a pattern,, I just cut & sew...

these are simple day aprons,,, Hostess style.
this is my house cleaning/veggie gathering apron....
And now I am off to go to the Ukelele club... lol!
No sewing tonite for this girl!

Good for you! Grand kiddos are the best! Time flies and we can't get it back! They grow up and we get older! Yikes, did I say older? I meant more mature! LOL!

Ok.... I stitched up 3 more aprons.... to keep myself busy...
I love that I am able to go through my stash of scrap fabrics left from my cobbler aprons...
Tonight i'll post pics of them...
Oh and did I mention we are at in the 90degree weather?

ok,, here are the next 3 aprons,,, unfortunately my old camera takes horrible photos,,,, certainly it couldn't be me... heeheehee!
the colors didn't turn out well in my photo,,,
this one,,, in the teal/plum/brown colors is my 'work apron',, great for tucking cleaning supplies or for apple picking,,, the photo doesn't do the apron pockets justice.. the floral fabric is the pocket, sewed up the middle to create 2 very large pockets plus a little hankie pocket. (total of 3 pockets)
the pink/brow one is actually rose and burgundy... darn camera..
I had some scraps of 'ball fringe' and used it on the pocket...

well the first 3 aprons are en-route to their new homes...
I need to drop a few of the other aprons (cobblers) I stitched up at my friends shop today...
I know it's Father's Day weekend,,, but at our little peddlers village,,, lots of hubbies get dragged along,,, you know, to carry their wives shopping bags... lolol!
