Grace, I realized that I was reading your post when I was interrupted. I think I did not get past the Palm Springs part. I apologize. I hope your mom has a speedy recovery and that you do get to enjoy the time with her. I worry so about both of my parents. They are in their 70s and I am so far away. Prayers to you and your mom.
