Posted a picture. They are well used. If you chick on the picture you can see all the leftover food splatters. I like looking through old cookbooks, and see what someone has written, or little newspaper clipping they put in. You never know what you will find in old books.

Nancy the Watkins cookbook bought back memories when the Watkins man came by our farm and mother bought vanilla flavoring from him. She may have bought other items but I only remember the vanilla flavoring.

I love old books in general! For Christmas, DH got me the Gladys Taber cookbook which is proving so fun to read through! Someone has made a lot of notations all over the book, dates they tried a recipe, etc. It's fun to see "August 2, 1969" penciled in for example - makes me smile!
