Did you know that the same movie set that was used in the movie "Holiday Inn" and the one in "Christmas in Connecticut" is the same one, they just moved parts of it around!

" Jack Frost Nipping at your Nose" Grace and Linda! me too!! I love Holiday Inn and White Christmas! I watch Hoilday Inn all the way through February! I love the valentine Dance and Bing singing "In your Easter Bonnet!" I love the fashions, the furniture. I read that in a book about classic movies. Look when you watch them both and you will see parts of the Inn turned around in White Christmas!
Look at the windows just in these shots. Holiday Inn 1942. White Christmas 1954. Now I'm itching to see both of them!!

The world’s largest Christmas stocking measured 106 feet and 9 inches (32.56 m) long and 49 feet and 1 inch (14.97 m) wide. It weighed as much as five reindeer and held almost 1,000 presents. It was made by the Children’s Society in London on December 14, 2007.

Here's a fun fact about "White Christmas" In the Scene where Judy shows a picture of her brother to the guys, the guy in the picture is Alfalfa from the "Little Rascals"

Connie,,, WOW! (Alfalfa)..

Did you know that the actor who played "Rusty" in Christmas Vacation... is the same person (now all grown up)who plays Leonard Hoffsteder in "The Big Bang Theroy"...?

and,,, that in Christmas Vacation, the little girl who played 'RubySue' the daughter of Clark Griswold's Cousin Eddy... she actually was wearing a wig,,, seems the Director didn't like her short hair do.

Grace, I did not know that was Leonard! I knew that Leonard played Darlene's boyfriend on "Roseanne". She guest starred on an episode of The Big Bang Theory. Ruby Sue had on a Wig! I bet she was cute with short hair!

Linda, I do too!!

The holiday movie "A Christmas Story " was actually a box office flop...and yet in the past several decades has become a iconic holiday movie...
Now... don't shoot your eye out...nor stick your tongue on a pole... lol!

Oh my gosh, Gracie! When my aunt took me to see it that year, I hated it. But now, it's one of our family favorites! As a matter of fact, when our son was wee little, he looked just like Ralphie when we put glasses on him! SO adorable!!! There's a big Victorian in the town next to us that has the large leg lamp in their front window, too - CRACKS ME UP every time we drive by! LOL! Hugs - Nini

Grace, Love the stocking! I have the small lamp! Have you ever seen "A Christmas Story Two" I Like it. It was a flop, went straight to DVD. I have seen it 5 times now on CMT station-Dish Network. It's funny. I love the scenery! I drug my Hubby in to watch it and he wound up liking it too!!

Did you know that Mall Santas make a minimum of $ 100.00 an hour and the experienced ones with real beards make $200.00 an hour. I checked it out, it's true. My old boss sits on the Board of one of the malls here and Santa makes $ 200.00 an hour, he works 9 hour Days!

What Hallmark woman had a woman Santa? I'll have to try and find A Christmas Story 2. Is it on Netflix?

OK! Here's a Christmas trivia for you all --
Similar to tinsel, these long strips of shiny foil are used to decorate a Christmas tree. What are they called?
