These are pretty and the plant is beautiful. Our pumpkins are ripe too---I have never seen them ripe so early. Weird season.

Rose seems to be thinking, "now what?". The dog bed is one day old. It lasted 20 minutes and was the biggest waste of $15.

Andrea I love the pumpkins. I panted 'new england sugar pie' pumpkins and have harvested several already. They are small like that.

Thank you sis, but we have several "dog blankets" for them. Jeff seems to think they want cushy beds, but Rose often sleeps on the bare floor or the couch. Even my mother-in-law's dogs snuggle up to her during the day and sleep with her at night. I can sew up the sides again.

The morning dog walk is canceled. Ever since she saw these deer, Rose has been hyperventilating.

No joy at our home - our naughty puppy, Rose, chewed up both my husband's hearing aids. Now he has to contact the VA - my dog ate them.

She is too smart- when I'm sewing and she wants attention she starts pulling things from my shelf.

A little good news at our home. This bathroom faucet moved from dripping to dribbling. It wasn't until today that we had time to get a new part. Of course we didn't know the brand it was but at the 4th place we got something close. As a side note, i thought Rose would like a road trip, but she gets carsick.
After I installed the part, my sweetie discovered the faucet brand and we found the parts at a Lowe's near Cincinnati. So we got back in the car (without Rose) and got the correct part, with a side trip to Party Source for a birthday gift for my dad.
Now the proper part is in, it works perfectly and thank goodness we didn't need a plumber.

Life has been busy, between my job and caring for my mother-in-law. But as as John Lennon sang, Hard times are over. My brother- and sister-in-law are bringing our son up to KY to help out.
My younger daughter from Germany has been visiting and brought incense so I found my smoker and lit him up. It adds a holiday atmosphere to our home. May everyone's Thanksgiving be as blessed as ours will be.

Vanessa,, I luv the little "Smokers"
I too have one from Germany and I am down to a few of the cone incense thingies..
My daughter and her hubby are still in Switzerland, and return in December,, I asked her to pick up a few packets for me,,,
I will remind her tonight when I talk to her...(we are 9hours behind so I call around 11pm here, which is about 8am there.

BTW, my daughter has the same problem with the bird feeders... the deer and turkeys invade them.. lol!

We humans may not have many Christmas decorations up yet, but our pup Rose has her new doghouse ready. Snoopy would be proud!

Rose would definitely win the decorating prize! Have fun finishing up the decorating.
